It's been over two years since I last bothered with a journal update. Wow. Here goes nothing. *deeeeep breath*
I've taken signed up for classes and completed classes, changed jobs, quit my job, and I'm currently in the process of enlisting in the US Navy. Economy being what it is (and my finances what they are) I've decided to give up on pursuing any art-related degree or employment, at least for the next 4-8 years. I don't think I have the right combination of talent, luck, drive, and connections to make it right now, and the idea of taking on major college loan debt if I'm gonna wind up right back in retail work isn't for me.
Date-wise, I've been in and out of quasi-relationships, had spatterings of dates, and have currently been single and dateless for about 6 months. I'm burnt out on chasing men, and I'm not really being chased, so I figure that, like pursuing a college degree, can wait until I've served my duty.
Art wise I've hit a number of loooooong dry spells, only interrupted when someone's birthday rolls around or something is assigned for a class.
Long story short, there's been a lot of burnout and will likely continue to be for a while yet.
Thanks for sticking with me, and I'm sorry if I've been slacking with commenting on your art, replying to comments or favorites, or neglectful in any other fashion. Much love to the Deviant,
Julie

If you go by double negatives, two wrongs DO make a right. And three rights make a left, so six wrongs=one left.
